Vote For Cactus Joe's Song

Cactus Joe (who you may know from his comments posted here) has submitted the song "A Face Like Yours" – by his band The Guppy Effect – to be in the new movie "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" (starring Michael Cera).

You can listen to the song, and vote for it by following this link: Listen to/vote for the song! and then clicking the "Vote now" button. You'll need to check your email and click the link it contains for the vote to actually count.

As of this posting, the song is #34 of 100. The top 100 go on to the next round, where the judges will weed the selection down to just 8, 1 of which will ultimately make it into the movie.

You can vote once per day.

DO IT!

Just wanted to clarify that the song would appear on the DVD of the film, as I think it is in post production right now. But our band would be involved in all the movie pre-release hoopla and PR. The hardest challenge is yet to come. In June we have to make a video, assuming we pass Round 1 (where you come in) and I am very willing to make an ass of u and me for that opportunity.

Wow… I totally missed including the end date in the post. Voting went through May 24 (I think)… and Joe's song was #61 at the end of it. I'm not sure when the judges narrow the top 100 down to just 8, but it'd be cool if the song made it through the next round!
