Yesterday spudart posted about Put[ting] smile emoticons between each letter to really emphasize your instant messages … and put up a screen shot of an IM with a smiley in between EVERY letter. And… unfortunately, *I* was the recipient of this message. 😛
Out of pure boredom, I just whipped up some quick javascript so ANYONE can do this. Automagically. Hopefully all messages to spudart are now filled with smiles. 🙂
I'm trying to figure out the most popular non-profit charities, and I think the best way to get some good input is to pose that question to you guys. I'm hoping for 5-10, but there's no hard limit.

I'm writing this blog post to you to prepare you for one of the most important decisions you can make regarding the upbringing of your spawn: the naming.
The name you choose can affect your dependent in ways you can't even imagine. Naming your kid "Stinky" could give him the drive to revolutionize the deodorant industry, or such an intense hatred of humanity.. that… unthinkable things!
While the welfare and life of the child is important, what's even MORE important is how awesome the name would look in a history book. You should assume that your new lifeform is going to fully harness the power of the force (either the light or dark side) and will become the most famous person to have ever existed (or maybe even the first person to walk on Mars!). And they should be named as such.

I LOVE Strawberry Pop-tarts. Toasted, un-toasted, I even microwaved them once, they're just good.
I've also tried generic store-brand versions. And none of them have that same… Pop-tarts…ness. But for the price, the Walmart "Great Value" brand toaster pastries are good enough. Interestingly, they show up on the receipt as "Poptarts", which just strikes me as wrong.
Since I'm rambling anyway… what's up with the multi-colored sprinkles on REAL strawberry Pop-tarts? How come the imitators never copy that? Other than Great Value that is – they've got a similar sprinkle party going on.
I don't think I could catch this guy. Look at those wicked fast tiny legs!
