Today Should Be Fun!
I'm starting my day off with a trip to the hospital to have an echocardiogram – basically an ultrasound of my heart. I hope they don't find a baby… specifically alien larva/larvae about to hatch and burst out of my chest.
This isn't one of those "OMG! IS HE GOING TO DIE?!" type things. This has been scheduled for like a week and a half. Still, I'm not entirely looking forward to it.

Over and done then? I'm glad to find the entry AND your reply, makes me optimistic that all is well. Sorry it wasn't comfy though.

If I was religious, I would pray for you.
But since I am atheist, I will rest assured modern science and medicine will keep you alive for many many years to come, notwithstanding your symbiont.
(i only let it infect you because this particular species of symbiont has extra-sensory perception of the undead, and i thought that would benefit you when encountering Zombie Jesus yesterday…)
Hey, do you happen to know…is the resurrection of Jesus the first documented case of zombie-ism in the Western world? I want to say there was one earlier, on which mythical Jesus was based.
I am so going to hell. If there was a hell…

You can still pray, even if you're an atheist. You can send love and light and ask the powers of the environment and the universe to protect friends and family. That's how I roll anyway.
Oh, and as much as I've ever read about Jesus, he was in or near Egypt, so "Western world" is kinda out of the picture, no matter what religion you practice, or don't.
Funny thing is that this past Sunday was the first time in all my years I've ever heard Easter refered to as Zombie Day! How could that be? Maybe I should be thanking facebook.
I still want everyones jelly beans
