The first is a picture of a crochet (crochet like knitting, I never know what that word is when I see it) lobster.. the second is a cat in a lobster costume. Not the ideal pictures for the idea behind the post.. but the crochet lobster is kinda cute.

Ever watch that crazy boating show on TLC where there's like 5 guys on a boat in the Bering Sea and they're always in the middle of a giant storm while they're throwing their pots into the ocean and retrieving the pots? And one dude always comes close near death whether it's a giant wave pulling them overboard or a big metal rope snapping and flying towards their face. And the captain is always smoking a cigarette second-guessing himself as to where to catch the crabs and then he yells at a deck mate for doing something stupid and the deckmate tells him to shut his trap and find a spot to get the score of crabs. All that for a bunch of lobsters and crabs. (btw, "pots" is the industry term for the cages that they catch the crabs in. I feel cool knowing crab fishing terms.)
