Coffee mugs are great...especially tan ones from the $dollar-tree$.

It doesn't happen to be a tan mug from the dollar-tree, does it? Because if it is, the owner will DEFINITELY want it back, it being so precious and all. ;)

My spam filter ate your comment.. sorry. I think it's because you used my name which, for some odd reason, is generally frowned upon. :-P

The friends are what's keeping me going. Pushing me further. Illuminating the path. I'm more grateful to have the select few friends that I can trust than I think I can ever really let them know. And those few that leave comments on here, they keep this part of my mind going, whether they like it or not. ;-)

Side note - I seem to have acquired an extra coffee mug.

Hang in there Br*nden...you've got a long week ahead of you! lol.

Very eloquintly put about the self-help books; and yes, there are those few "gems" out there that no one ever really hears about which hold within their pages beautiful mysteries of the Universe and the process by which to discover them. But, if one really does their homework and searches with pure intent, not randomly grabbing the shiniest, boldest book on the shelf, they just may find that there are some valuable things to be learned from the experiences of others.

And as Kate mentioned, yes...friends are "the greatest things ever in this world"; for in friends we find not only valuable knowledge but the love and interaction that cannot be obtained from books, no matter how shiny and beautiful they may be ;).

Br*nden, you are a very talented, bright, caring and creative individual who is capable of AMAZING things. You have all the tools, but are lacking clarity and intent. Once the intent is clear, the doing becomes easy.

My advice? Find the root of your suffering. Once you understand what is lacking, the road ahead is much clearer. In the meantime, and always, try to find joy, appreciation and serenity in the day-to-day, mundane things. Sometimes our constant yearning for something other than what lay before us is the cause of our suffering, for which the only cure is seeking satisfation with what is. (Maybe I should try this, ey? :P)

Luck is on your side Br*nden, so spread your wings and soar. Whatever you choose to do, I support you and wish you the best. My only hope is that you find happiness and sincere satisfaction in who you are and what you do...you deserve it!

Cheers to the process of self-discovery! Although bitter-sweet, it is profound and oh-so beautiful :).

Bless Love and Light everyone, and good luck on all your journeys!
Peace,
-Vanessa

while work is necessary...gotta pay those bills!....welcome to the club of longing for the weekends. i do the exact same thing! i've already started a list of songs to request for when i go out dancing on friday night on monday morning!! the weekends are the best...wish they didnt have to go by so dang quickly and the rest of the week go by so slowly :( not fair!! guess that just means we gotta hang onto those weekend moments as long as we can :)

avoid self-help books...i don't think they actually "help" anyone but make them more confused and make a nice profit for those out to "help" others. my recommendation on self-help: friends...they are the greatest things ever in this world :)
