Lately i save the extra napkins I get from restaurants. The paper kind. If it's cloth I don't keep those, cuz that wouldn't be right. But I only save the paper kind if I don't use them. But they are handy at work. I use my subway napkins all the time. And people are like, subway napkin? But you aren't eating a subway. And they get all confused.

I live in Elmhurst, IL. We get one standard size garbage can. If we want to throw away anything more than that one garbage can, then we have to buy garbage stickers from the city and place the stickers on the "extra" trash. Stickers can be purchased at hardware and grocery stores. It encourage people to use the recycling program which is free. You can recycle as much stuff as you want.

I never throw my garbage out. Instead, I roll them up and make tiger statues. Lots and lots of tiger statues.

i know exactly what you mean! I can't believe how much garbage some people make! i have 1 black bag stuffed with a week's worth of garbage and 1 bag from changing the litter boxes the night before. i still think my idea of having cars run on garbage (or pee) is brilliant...it would solve so many other problems...because seriously, no matter what other fuel source we use, there's just too many people and too many cars, we're still gonna be depleating some resource. it's already starting with the corn for biofuels....we need a better solution than just continuing to rape the earth for the sake of fuel and energy.
