spud, the opacity photo is a play off Photoshop's opacity tool. 100% opacity kitty is black. 60% is lighter, 30% even lighter, and 0% is completely clear. It's amazing that they found a cat that is perfectly clear. Very difficult to do.

Actually, 0% opacity cats (Zocats) are quite common. If you've ever seen anyone trip over nothing while walking around, chances are pretty good that they found a Zocat.
