Bologna!

I can't believe I ate bologna as a kid! GROSS!

I couldn't even buy the stuff if I wanted to now… ok, I could, but I don't, and I won't.

But as a kid? Woah! It made for a quick sandwich, nothing to cut, nothing to spread, just a slice or two of round meat, maybe a piece of cheese, and some mustard (or mayo if I felt like putting the effort into spreading it) and – SANDWICH. Or, just putting mustard and cheese on a piece of bologna and rolling it up. OR! You know what was really good? Cream cheese spread on bologna, rolled up around one of those little sweet pickles.

Mmmmm… bologna! Oh wait – YUCK!

I still enjoy a nice bologna sandwich. No mustard or pickles for me. Just bologna on wheat bread, though I much prefer white bread. mmmmmm. The cheese isn't a bad idea.

I've always enjoyed how bologna is kinda sculpture. It's a perfect circle. It has a very consistent thickness. It's that thickness that I like. bologna is very much a cartoon food. Bite into a sandwich with 3 slices of bologna and it has a great defined look to it because of it's consistent thickness.

Recently I've been checking feeds through Google Reader, but I still use My Yahoo from time to time. My Yahoo lists just the blog post headline. So my My Yahoo feed gives the following list for sparxmind:
    Landscaping.. Is Fun?
    Bologna!

I love how this post answers the question to your previous post.
