100th Post
This seems like it should be some sort of important landmark. 100 examples of my ability to stick to something, even though it doesn't have any direct measurable benefit to me.. other than helping me keep my sanity, but maybe things would be more interesting if I let the last bit of that just fade away. 🙂
I don't know that I've ever posted about the vending machine downstairs.. my mountain dew supplier. It's broken – it's been broken for a long time. It used to be broken in a way that made it want to give out extra bottles of dew when I put money in it – they fixed that after a few months. Now it's broken and wants to give out warm soda – not room temperature – it's acting as a beverage warmer. It's had a handwritten "out of order" sign on it for maybe 2 weeks now.
This all leads up to me mentioning my new favorite person on campus. I don't know his name, but he works here as a custodian. He's been hassling the Pepsi guy and it sounds as if he's managed to get them to agree to bring in a new machine. In the meantime, he had the Pepsi guy stock the other vending machine (the one with water and juice and iced tea) with dew to save us the walk across the building to satisfy our addiction. He is my hero.

That's the one. He's great. I've never seen him give out candy though.. guess I'm just always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Story of my life. 😛

aaahhh, yeah that would be Dave…he's the custodian who always gives out candy 🙂 and he's not afraid to speak his mind when things go wrong around here, which is to our benefit, because he's gonna be the one to actually get your vending machine fixed. yay for Dave!!
and happy 100th post!!! it is definitely a cause for celebration…so when and where is the party??
